Michael Gagnon, a graduate of the University of Waterloo (Bachelor of Environmental Studies – Honours Urban and Regional Planning), has been a practicing Urban Planner since 1984. Michael established Gagnon Walker Domes Ltd. in 1990.

Michael has a broad base of experience garnered from decades of private sector service. Since the Planning Firm’s inception he has consulted and served as advisor on over 3,000 retained assignments. His planning and project management experience has contributed to the advancement and implementation of a diverse portfolio of developments; including numerous landmark residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects.

Michael is highly respected as a ‘straight shooting’ planning and development consultant. Michael is a full member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, the Canadian Institute of Planners and a Member of Lambda Alpha International (Simcoe Chapter). Michael has also invested time and resources in support of the betterment of the diverse communities constituting the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and Southern Ontario. In recognition of his efforts he has been awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012) and the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada Medal, also awarded by Queen Elizabeth II (1992).
