Richard Domes is a Principal Planner and Partner of Gagnon Walker Domes Ltd. with nearly twenty (20) years of planning experience in the private sector. Richard joined Gagnon Walker Domes Ltd. in 2006, becoming Principal Planner and Partner in 2016.

Richard is a focused and driven professional with an ethical, innovative and effective approach to Urban Planning and Project Management. Richard has extensive experience providing planning and design opinions and project management services in support of a wide range of planning/development proposals within various municipalities, with a focus on urban redevelopment and intensification projects; including low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise residential, office, mixed-use, retail and hospitality proposals. Richard’s versatile, results oriented methodology to planning issues and his commitment to our Client’s interests successfully brings projects from the conceptual design stage to final approval.

Richard has been qualified to provide expert opinion evidence in the field of land use planning before the Ontario Land Tribunal.
